Hi, I'm Melania, a junior UX designer with a not-so-junior amount of customer experience. Every step before UX taught me something about how people think and what they need.

A bachelor's degree plus a semester in Canada, including lots of professional and personal growth.

Marketing & a cafe
Planning website structure and writing content, plus managing a cafe and its social media. My first taste of user flows, before I knew that was UX.

Moving to Norway
Working in specialty coffee and talking to guests in a new language. I know how it feels to be the confused new "user".

Studying next to my coffee job. Learning research, testing and design, and realizing I'd been doing a version of it behind the counter for years.
What I'm drawn to
Understanding people through user research and testing, and finding the patterns in what they say and do.
Languages I speak
Polish, English and Norwegian. Still working on my Spanish.
Off-screen I enjoy
Specialty coffee, creative hobbies like knitting, crocheting and sewing, and taking care of my (many) plants.
